Ruth qualified as a physiotherapist in 2004 and has been specialist in paediatrics since 2008. She is now a highly specialised physiotherapist within the NHS caring for children and adolescents with a variety of rheumatological, musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions. As such, Ruth has a vast amount of experience in the management of patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Ruth joined the team at Leeds Children's Physiotherapy in 2012. Her level of experience enables her to complete in depth assessments of patients to ensure optimal care. Ruth enjoys working with children and adolescents and strives to ensure her management is patient centred, and her approach is age appropriate.
Ruth has completed several courses in Pilates and often uses Pilates management on a 1:1 basis when treating her patients. She is involved in providing teaching for allied health professionals based across Yorkshire, on paediatric rheumatological conditions.
