Dawn qualified as a physiotherapist in 1995 and has worked at an advanced level in the NHS, as an 'Extended Scope Practitioner Physiotherapist' since 2003. She works closely with children's orthopaedic surgeons, spinal orthopaedic surgeons, paediatricians, and paediatric rheumatologists, using her extensive experience to determine appropriate investigation, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal problems in children and adolescents.
Dawn formed Leeds Children's Physiotherapy in 2007, to provide privately-funded care for children across the Yorkshire region. For the past 8 years, Leeds Children's Physiotherapy has also held an NHS contract to provide paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapy to NHS patients across Leeds.
Dawn also teaches on physiotherapy courses at undergraduate and post-graduate level, and is qualified to teach APPI Pilates on a class, or one to one, basis.
